The Orcas Island Education Foundation (OIEF) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 1984 which sole purpose is to secure and distribute tax deductible contributions to benefit students in the Orcas Island Public Schools.

Our remarkable community contributed generously to save an incredible amount of programming which had been slated for cuts in the 2007-2008 school year:

AP Biology • AP U.S. History • AP Euro History • AP Calculus • Strength and Conditioning • Integrated Math 4 • Government/Civics • Zoology • Middle School Foods and Clothing • Career Choices • Woodworking • An Elementary Math Specialist • Music Classes • All-Day Kindergarten.
